Pancakes!

Anybody who knows me knows my love of pancakes, and probably shares that love on a Saturday morning when my Dad is making them.  I stumbled across some amazing recipes yesterday that I have been salivating over all day.  I cannot wait to go home and make these guys, oh and these guys, this weekend.

Kevin doesn't quite understand my pancake obsession, so when I read Joy the Baker's post, who is also obssessed with pancakes, it made me laugh.  Please note the Oatmeal Cookie Pancake recipe while you're there...yum!

She's just being Miley...

I just got back from some much needed girl time at the lake with Elyza.  We decided to retreat outside of the city for the night and watch girly movies, drink wine, and lay out by the pool.  One frozen pizza, a bottle of wine and one Hip Hop Ho Down later (yay Hannah Montana!), we were out for the night, only to wake up to a gorgeous morning on the lake.  I am so lucky to have such a wonderful friend, and so lucky that we live in the same city. :)

Retail Therapy

I find that when I have to travel during the week for work, there is no better way to reward myself than to do a little online shopping and have a package of clothes waiting for me when I get home.  My JCrew Final Sale items arrived safely on my porch this afternoon and I cannot wait to get home to try them on!

Hello, Buenos Aires!

We did it!  We bought tickets!  At the end of the year, Lindsey and I will be spending two weeks in the birthplace of tango, Argentina.  We're already excited about tango lessons in Buenos Aires, wine tasting in Mendoza, and glacier trekking in Los Glaciares National Park.  We'll get to see the famous Iguazu Falls, which upon seeing, Elearnor Roosevelt reportedly exclaimed "Poor Niagra!"  We'll also get to see gauchos, eat lots of carne asada, and visit the "ends of the earth" en la Tierra del Fuego.

New Beginnings

Ok, I've decided to try this whole blog thing again.  It will be less like a journal and more like a montage of things I like.

Plus, Whitney is threatening me with Twitter if I don't restart my blog.  Let's see how it goes!
